Green Chamber of Commerce
The purpose of the Green Chamber is to promote sound economic development in the community, to foster new businesses within the community, and to promote an active dialogue among government, business, education, and civic groups in the interest of enhancing the economic vitality of the City of Green. The Chamber helps businesses to build their business networks by sponsoring a variety of events such as Business-to-Business Luncheons, Morning Connections Breakfasts, Networking Nights, and an annual Golf Outing. The Chamber also sponsors an annual Awards Dinner, where local businesses that have made significant contributions to the community can be recognized.
Everyone who lives or works in Green and the surrounding areas benefits from the work done by the Green Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber strives to preserve and attract quality businesses, develops the marketplace, and improves our communities quality of life.
You and your employees are an asset to our community and we invite you to be part of the 6th Annual Green Expo. This exciting event, hosted by the Green Chamber of Commerce, provides a unique opportunity to expose your business to potential customers from all age groups and professions. For visitors of the expo, it’s a chance to experience what area businesses have to offer while enjoying informative demonstrations and talent presented by Green students.
One of our main goals is to share with the community the wonderful amenities of Green. In addition 2012 marks the City of Green’s 20th Anniversary. So this year our theme, "The Magic of Green", was chosen to portray the specialness of our city and the businesses in it.
Below are the details for the 2012 Green Expo:
- When: March 3, 2012, 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
- Where: Green High School, 1474 Boettler Road
- What: Community Event that combines business displays, fun and educational presentations/demonstrations
- Goal: To give everyone in the community from young children to seniors the opportunity to learn, grow and enrich themselves. While doing so, we hope to expose the attendees to Green’s amenities, businesses, and assets.
Last year’s event was attended by over 3,750 people
- A Taste of Green food court, featuring area restaurants
- Over 85 display tables of area businesses and organizations
- Performing Art groups, both on-stage performances and small groups
- Demonstrations and exhibits by students
- Media sponsor
Take advantage of this great opportunity to showcase your knowledge and expertise. There are opportunities for businesses to participate, from table displays to monetary sponsorships. Our goal is to have as many businesses as possible play a part in this exciting event.
