The Green Chamber of Commerce is made up of a variety of businesses and professionals.

Membership in the Chamber is open to any person, association, corporation, firm, govenment, school, or partnership having an interest in the objectives of the Chamber. The Chamber derives strength from the fact that it can pool the resources of this diverse group, and accomplish more as a group than any one individual or business can do alone. Thus the Chamber can offer its members a variety of benefits that might not be available to small business. Businesses benefit from discounted healthcare and workers compensation rates, reduced rates on phone service, and training seminars tailored to meet their needs.

Our goal is to provide members with benefit values that far exceed the membership dues they've paid to join the Chamber.

Health Care Providers

There are two Group Health Insurance Plans available to Chamber members, the SummaCare Health Plan and Hometown Health Network.

SummaCare’s plan offers significant savings on group health coverage including: PPO, Point of Service and HMO coverage with ancillary coverage available including pharmacy, life and dental options; the network includes 5,000 physicians and 27 hospitals in northeast Ohio plus access to national networks; full TPA services for self-funded employers of all sizes; and full three-year accreditation by the national Committee on Quality Assurance with a rating of Excellence.

Hometown Health Network is locally owned and operated, and has provided high quality health cover-age and personalized service since 1987. The Hometown Health Network offers fully funded and self-funded plans including PPO, POS, and HMO and Medicare+ Choice, as well as complementary health care benefits; their provider network includes 3,000 physicians and 38 hospitals. Hometown is a member of Akron General Health System and is the sponsored health plan of Robinson Memorial Hospital.

Worker's Compensation Program

The Workers Compensation Program is administered by Compensation Consultants, Inc (CCI) and offers significant premium savings through Workers’ Compensation Group Rating, which includes the BWC’s Nine Step Program. They offer underwriting, rate analysis, & reviews; wage continuation analysis, and claims settlements.
